yeah man it's sweet. random or in order, you can just load the tracks you want. perfect for skating too because it looks like it could handle a bail while in your 5th pocket.

Ok, I was getting excited untill I read that. is that true?
I listen to a lot of electronic music, and most cd's come mixed and I like to listen to them in order.
can you do that? or you are fost to play random?

you set that in itunes.

i thought i read somewhere that you have to decide it in itunes..ofcourse you do set the tracks in the right order in itunes via playlists, not?

yes.. .. in itunes you set them in the order you want them to play if you have shuffle off.

my o.g. 5gb ipod does me just fine for shredding... that thing looks like it will impail you if you fall on it, if not that it will prolly snap in half... then again i don't fall so i wouldn't have to worry... but all you gorbies should!
and its not gonna work with your burton bluetooth jacket should you ever own one.

Waste of time - a step back for Apple. And what happened to the whole idea of a "digital hub" (Mac mini) which just turned out to be a crap hard drive with a few extra ports stuck in?

I suppose Griffin or somebody could make an accessory that has a display and can read the ID3 data off of the iPod shuffle - for those who love accessories and must have a screen.
Look at all of the accessories for the iPod! I wouldn't doubt it.
