I'm setting up for dual display with a powerbook and was wondering if it was possible to swap the primary monitor (notebook lcd) with the second monitor (crt)? I want my main interface to be on the CRT rather than using the notebook lcd. Any help? Thanks.

yep... no problem at all. Just like any other 2 monitor setup.

yeah, just slide the display over.

Yes
Under system preferences/ display, select ARRANGE
then drag the monitors the way you want it, and drag the menu bar from the small square to the big one
hope that helps

Not exactly what I was hoping to do. Its not just that I am swapping the physical monitors, but I want to put the main interface that is on the powerbook lcd (with file menu and dock bar and clock and everything on the main display) on the crt. In the arrangement setup window, you are merely setting it up to physically switch the monitors.

You can actually drag the representation of the Apple Menu bar to the other monitor in the dispay prefs.. just click on the white bar at the top and drag

ugh... nonono
where you switch the monitors... grab the MENU BAR.. the white strip up top.. and drag JUST the menu bar into the other window
that switches the primary
