i'm actually getting pretty tempted.. i do most of my work at my office, this would just be for home - farting around and freelance crap..
we have a few here at work.. theyre kinda sweet. anyone have one and have any problems?

Have mine since November.
No problems.
Get as much RAm as you can afford.

yeah the money i save will go into ram and an external drive for backup. whats the deal are you able to hook up another monitor if you were so inclined?

the only problem i have with it is i can't afford the damn thing!

if it's just to play with at home you may want to wait until after the macworld expo. rumor has it they'll be releasing an iMac for under $500 (although without a monitor... they're calling it the "headless" imac)... Even if that doesn't interest you I'd still wait until after the expo. Prices will drop on some items as new ones are announced.

ive been using a 20" imac since november... its my primary comp ( i was on a dual G4) and i have nothign but good things to say about it...
but like was said before, be sure to hook it up with more RAM...

i read somewhere that you have to use paired ram chips? is that true?
and yeah, anything less than a gig of ram would be uncivilized
