This is killing me because ive done it before but I can not find it to save my life. Do any of you know how I can free transform an imported image? I want to be able to drag a corner and transform the durn thing. I hope this option is for the pro bundle only which is what I'm thinking.

simply click on the corner of it and transform. Make sure you have highlighted the desired layer.

ya... but then what? Effects>Transform doesnt give me the option. ... unless i'm missing something. Ive even tried pulling the end points with CTRL + drag

no don't press ctrl just click the corners it will work

you guys sure? I click on it with the normal arrow tool and it gives me the corner points, it just wont let me drag them individually to free transform

positive if you want to distort it for example pull one point left but leave three others then choose distort > corner pin.
Then you can drag the four points manually.
It can be a bit confusing as Pshop anchors a corner but AE anchors the center.

ahh... you see... I was right... it is for the Pro bundle only. Can any of you give me the corner-pin plugin? I have it at home, but I need it for work. This sucks.

6.5 but its not the pro bundle which includes more plugins and such. :(

Does it have to be drasgging the corner?
if you click on the layer's arrow, under transform, you can use the scale option, unclik the link to get rid of the aspect ratio.
Maybe Im not understanding what you need to do, but I don't think you need a plug in to do something so simple.
