Looking for feedback on the navigation of this site for a achitecture/renovation company. It's going live in a couple weeks, and just want to make sure it all makes sense.
http://www.konception.net/temp/c…Thanks!

wow. works great. very nice indeed. the links on the left, dropdown and resulting shift of pics up top is ace. well done.

well, the navigation makes sense.
the loading message was there fro some time, so it's proably wise to give the user an idea of how much time he should wait [getBytesLoaded / getBytesTotal * 100].
try using a Math.round() on the slide's _x property to mantain the pixel font legible.

Thanks guys.
Anarchitect: I would love to show a percentage of what is loaded, but the images are actually loading from an xml document so bytesloaded etc. does not seem to work.
Any ideas on this?

Also, note how the control point over the moving strip is toward the left side. Is this the most natural place for it? Should it be in the centre of the strip?
I had it centred, but the client said it felt like it should be on the left, closer to the menu.
Whatcha think?

ok.
you could loop through your xml object, create an empty mc, 'loadmovie' it with the xml's node path attribute, check if (mc.getBytesLoaded () == mc.getBytesTotal() && mc.getBytesTotal() >10) and if so start the whole thing over for the next image until you reach the end.

Thanks for the help Anarchitect... I'll try that out.
Any more feedback? Should the scrolling effect on the "filmstrip" be centred?
