What would you say your success rate is in your work. Not only in your personal satisfaction of the completed work, but also with your clients.

110%, cause that's what I always give. Hoo-Hah!

100% in the sense that everything functions and communicates.
I'd say 30% or less if you look at it from the standpoint of developing the right marketing mix to the end user per campaign, But that's the marketing managers fault.

me personally, i'm pretty critical of my work and usually when the job is done i hate everything and just want it to be over with.
clients on the other hand, have always loved my work, no matter how crappy. i've only once had a client give negative remarks to a concept before design. funny though, i did exactly what he requested knowing it would look bad and he blamed me. oh well. a revision later he was happy.
me: 50%
clients: 98%not bad. and you? you started the topic.

Sometimes my best work doesn't get the approval from the client. freakin sucks.

from a client standpoint I have received great feedback in about 95% of projects.
From a personal standpoint I feel like I could do better in most cases if I had a little more time to spend on individual pieces.

i have been lucky - majority of my clients love it. on the other hand, i'm usually not satisfied with it.
i need to stop sucking their asses.

up and down. starting to come out of a really depressing bad patch now. thank fuck.
clients are happy, mainly because they are the cause of my despair though.

Personally, I'm totally satisfied with the proposals I present them and they are mostly, but then comes the hard part. They always want some detail changed which in 90% of the cases from my stand point, totally destroys the work.
I end up (most of the cases) totally disliking the work, they... end up being satisfied. I got so much frustration I was even seriously thinking of moving to other industry...

Yeah VSLX . I am thinking of the same thing. You have vision but Dealing with clients and changes that have nothing to do with integrity of design makes it anoying at times.
Maybe its me. the clients I deal with seem inconsistent with what they choose or like at different times.
