My GF and I spent 3 1/2 hours last week watching all of her Ashlee shows from MTV. What a horrorshow.
I hate hate hate hate hate the illusion of entitlement when it comes to these no talent kids.
Her record label boss actually said, "We're going to put you with the best producers and writers and help you find your identity?"

also in EVERY ashley simpson show she has problems singing, because she CANT yet she still pretends like she can

That's very popular in the church/religion on overload set.
I knew a girl in high school like that. Constantly told us she was "married to Jesus" and it was of course a constant curiosity to us about how much or little she'd done with a friend she was dating.

I don't challenge the fact that her father may be a wierdo or a hypocrite. Simply saying that there's nothing wrong with a father and daughter establishing a commitment of purity til marriage for her.
I know that's frightfully unpopular in today's lovely culture.

I agree with discipler that there's nothing wrong at all with a parent enstilling values in their child, especially ones that deal with the purity of sex.
But it's a contradiction of sorts when you take how he talks about them and sells them on sexuality.
