I think he got pissed off at cola in one of the asian flood threads
he closed the door pretty hard, so he might be gone for a while

true...where is the NT living man?
- jox0
sigh, not again *rolls eyes*

can't blame his for wanting to take a break after that fiasco. even the most sane people would've wanted to dropkick some people (okay maybe just dropkick one person) in that thread.
he'll be back though, or i'll just have to kick his ass.
- jox0
Ooh what happened in that thread anyway? Sounds like I missed something!
- mevsthem0

I gave up at her/his stupidity...
- jox0
w0t! who is cola anyway?? and somebody please quote!
- tomkat0
well, bascially she/he bragged about how much money the US donated for the flood victims and kept asking how miuch the euro countries donated - and then finally said something like "I'm not gonna pay for these people with my taxes.."
krank.
- stewardez0
"I'm not gonna pay for these people with my taxes.."
...what a cunt
- fate0
stewardez, I suppose that's the beauty of our republic as opposed to a pure democracy.

I never said that. why would anyone say such a thing? I actually had said I donated $500 to the relief fund and our taxes are going as well. What made everyone angry was when I had pointed out that the 10 countries effected by the tsunami were muslim countries everyone got angry and jumped to conclusions.

---------------------i'm sorry, i didn't follow your earlier discussion...
forget about my post. that quote (probably ripped out of the context) just pissed me of.

But dutchboy got angry when I pointed out that before he said "this isn't a competition between countries" he had mentioned "the reason people are angry is that the US can spend much more money than they are based on its per capita %". So I explained that if we followed that logic we have big problems with Luxembourg who only donated $265,000, Norway and Switzerland.
That's when everyone got angry and started telling me it isn't a competition but only moments before I pointed this out it was according to the conversation. Basically I got blamed for logic.
But what got him really angry was when he apologized to me and I didn't apologize back. He said that I need to learn to apologize. After that comment I asked him if he always apologizes with expectations of the other person apologizing or if he apologizes from the heart without any agenda. This is where he called me a "heartless cunt".
