much more appropriate, nice dash land!

lol! refering to the new imac? leave it to apple to tout another non-accomplishment.. like when they said the G3 was the world's fastest supercomputer, or when they flamed pc's for years for having a command shell, then on osx they tout the "wonders of the new command shell". :)

PC's are better then Mac but this is TiVo + Apple and iv been waiting to get a TiVo for so long, i like watching TV my stress goes down.

i dunno man, I'm sure apple would love to own tivo and then get in really good with the broadcast / movie industry and lock it down completely, which would essentially destroy tivo as we know it...,
I mean they are putting forth quite an effort to keep the recording industry on their side. I'm sure a similar effort will be made.
Besides, can apple really improve tivo all that much?
- enobrev0
besides maybe white tivo boxes.

"I'm sure apple would love to own tivo and then get in really good with the broadcast / movie industry and lock it down completely"
--sony's been trying that for over a decade. they even bought a movie studio and television studio so they could own all the films and tv shows for when their product rolls out.. the only thing stopping them is file sharing and copying. i doubt apple even has the capital to try that.
