I've just designed a little foundry/clipart site with a few (6) typefaces that I am looking to sell. I am looking for cheap ($200 or less) or free solutions for creating a shopping cart system that will auto-email users back a url to download their zipped fonts from my site. I've seen other folks' posts about oscommerce, etc. I'm looking for something Mac-based if possible, however. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I use it for one of my clients and it is HIGHLY modifyable. I don't think the cart offers it on the straight install, but there is probably hacks out there to do someting like you're needing. Ask around on there, the people are helpful.
Oh yeah, and the cart is free.
