i'm setting up wireless at home, and want to delete and old network in my internet connect prefs...
any idea how?

maybe: Locations--> Edit Locations-->Delete

no its not in the main system pref its in the internet connect...
theres no option anywhere to delete old network prefs...

then maybe backup and delete: userhome --> Library --> Preferences --> com.apple.internetconnect.plis
or com.apple.internetconfig.plistthis may melt your rig though.

will that really f up my machine?
its weird, it connected fine yesterday using default, then today its started connecting using a different network ...
macs and wireless networking = headache.

I think you need to do the deleting of the Locatio from the main System Preferences>Network pane.
Internet Connect is just for adding additional dialling options to existing Locations.

osx is far better for wireless networking than the winxp counter part.
It just fucking works, its sensational...
my pc shits me to tears with the wireless network from time to time.
