comes with a cd that has a program called final vinyl or something to help transfer better...good quality stuff.

Because I heard about a filter (physical) you should use between the player and the soundcard ?
And is it better to recorde it from the player without going through an amplifier or take it from the amp ?
thanks a lot.

Vous êtes bienvenu. J'essayerai d'aider encore plus.
En Anglais: Basically, line in your record player, good and cheap electronic ones like Stanton makes, http://www.stantondj.com/alpha44… or something of that nature. Line it into your PC or Mac. Use some software to pick up that signal and digitally record that which is previously analog. Bom! ;)

hehe, ok, I'll try... thanks.

are you on PC or Mac? I can assist you with what software will do it for you the easiest and how to maximize the sound of your recording, ie, compression.

i would run it through your reciever that has an input specifically for a record player, there is something about how phonographs output the sound it's the same as other sources.
so do that, and then connect a cable from your headphones to line-in or something.
i wouldnt go directly from your phonograph to the computer.

you can put those same effects with less trouble using effects in something like Sound Forge

did it work?
