this is totally off topic but i've been working for this dot-dom for the past 5 years, and due to being a surviving dot-com, we have had salary freeze for the last 4 years, and even though i got promoted (three times) i'm still making the same salary as 4 years ago.
[why stick, you may ask...but i do work with some wonderful people]
anyhoo, after 4 years of financial complaint, my company finally gave us bonus.
it was not a lot, especially compared to what my friends take for granted (they get like 3000-5000USD for bonus easily), but when i heard the news it almost made me cry.today, i got the check in my mailbox.
and i literally could cry right now.that is all.

it was 1000.
after tax, nine hundred one dollars and twelve cents.i can finally fix my brake (and the brake gets really bad after some years of driving around hills in san francisco).

my employer didn't do bonus' this year at all. hell, we didn't even get a christmas party.
so, I can definetly say congrats to you graph. be thankful for what you did get. if it's what you needed, then it was meant to be.
