any one got a tatty old pantone book for sale?

the older the more faded the colours are, the less accurate it is (unless it has been kept in a dark place all the time). just a warning you know. not like that you're gonna cry because you wanted 390 C but got 388 C instead or something :)

oh yeah, they are way too expensive but dude they have to print *all* the pantone colours you know.

they should do a a pantone book lite, with just 3 of the best yellow and 3 of the best blues and so on...
you know everyone only uses the same colours over and over...

aha, basically a trend colour forecast pantone swatch book? would make it a lot cheaper.
i'm still looking for a cmyk swatches book. way way way way too expensive as well.

I know a bloke who can get new Pantone books for £50, he has also got metalic books for around the same price.

you might try your local printers, ill bet they have some worn out book lying around
