Anyone here use a real time credit card processing system? What merchant account / gateway did you go with? What is the monthly cost?

used authorize.net. but i must warn. if you're not .asp, .php, or .jsp savvy their code is complete shit and will not work with minor tweeks. there is however a company out there...

... where you can buy the scripst that work 'out of the box' so to speak. not sure on a.n.'s cost as i was only the programmer. but i bought this code and whalla, in hours it was up and running after setting up the a.n. gateway.
also, the a.n. customer service is horrid, they are clueless so you're really on your own there.

Thanks for the info K0na. I know CF and some ASP and JSP. The site is in CF. I hope it won't be too difficult to get some type of variable sent back saying that it went through so I can finish adding what I need into my database based on what they ordered.
If anyone who's done this has any price info on this as well as a recommended bank merchant account to use let me know.
If it's pretty expensive I need to get going with the marketing so I'm not wasting money on e-commerce bills.
