i usually go with ATI cards, but since migrating most of my stuff to linux, im very disappointed, since ATI has horrible driver support for linux.

I've got a ATI 256mb pro card on one of my other boxes. It's ok and all but I like to play a game once in a while... and most know ATI cards suck for quite a few highend games.

yea. but, then again, my sony vaio s150's mobile 9200 ati seems to work fine with gentoo.
the only problem is it will hang when exiting to shell from kde using radeonfb and fglrx together.
but, the standard kernel support seems ok.
getting a 1280x800 xbrite display running under linux is "fun." but, it looks gorgeous.

i dunno, i got a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB, and it's running HL2 and Doom3 perfectly on the highest settings, albeit without AA.

i own an xbox. :)
i'm not a big pc game fan. i like to divide work and play. my workstation and notebook are for work, my console is for fun.
xbox live gets me through the long winter nights.

heh, i never owned a console, except for nintendo and dreamcast. I just cant imagine playing first person shooter and strategy games on a console.
