how do i make one so it is easily printed off at kinko's or something? illustrator with the document set to the card size?
need guidance.

that would work. the trim size should be 3.5"w x 2" high.
make sure it's flattened; that type is converted to vector, or include the fonts; cmyk if 4c; include pms swatches if using pms; specify stock, varnish, etc.
take nothing for granted. those guys can & will screw up anything... good luck.

just make a new doc. 2.25'' x 3.75'' for bleed. will print off as 2'' x 3.50''
Save in many formats. AI, EPS, hi res JPG. sometimes the kinkos guys are just fucking dumb. I would sugest taking them to a print shop. I can order you some if you would like. They are cheap here in tennessee. Like 1,00 for $40 front and back thermo.

what tny said.
totaly forgot about flattning. GOOD ADVICE.

I would set it up for cutting (3 across, 6 down or something) or they will charge you a set-up fee.

if you go the kinko's route, bring it in as a pdf, or they may charge you more cash.

I do printing so here is the spec: For a full bleed cards usually set up as 2.25 x 3.75 = final size is 2x3.5
Artwork needs to be flattened. Tiff is ok but .eps files are better.
Also, do not try to set up the "ups" yourself, when people do multiple ups on a page themselves it is usually wrong.
All printer are different, ask for a spec sheets.

don't use kinkos, please. they will def fuck something up. find a cheap place online, they'ss give you the file specs and do a pro job.

Kinkos is the Denny's of Graphic Design.
Its crap, but they're open all night.
