I've just played Tomato's first Videogame (wordimagesoundplay) on PS2 and have to say the game is shit. The game itself is nothing more than an Director-Authored CD-Rom on the PS2.
I was expecting something exciting, but didn't get it. I think Tomato shouldn't make another Videogame and stick to Web based content.
Has anybody else played this rather shit game? If so, let me know your opinion on it.

i like the 'pros' v 'cons' in this review. pros - tries something new, cons - fails. cracker.

i like the music and text treatments in the game though the game is shit.

yeah, maybe they could have offered a showreel on cd-rom for $15 bucks and made people happy rather than sell a full priced console release with limited everything and pretentions of grandeur.

Maybe, they should have given it away free with a magazine, like, say...., Computer Arts.

what did you expect? their short film dvd put out in japan sucked ass.
tomato is pretty last-millennium. dont know what happened.. then karl hyde left underworld. that cinched it.

Ico wasn't terribly successful here. kinda went unnoticed. I have no idea why tho. It was so fun and quite beautiful. I'm anxiously awaiting that Colossus game.

actually karl hyde is still with underworld. he'd want to be he's the singer / main songwriter. the dj darren emerson left which is a shame but the last cd was done sans-emerson and was good.

ICO remains to be one of my all time favorite games ever. so under-rated! cant wait for the release of the new one also.
