define ridiculous clothes?
-------------------------It all starts when they wear sun-glasses when it's fucking dark all the time. They all think they're Bono and have got them surgically attached to their face. Then there's the infux of glow-in-the-dark Japanese tourists who came on holiday and never left and brought all the moon-boots with furry tops and lots plastic shit that looks thoroughly uncomfortable.... and Camden is the only place to get hair-gel that does THAT to you hair. Frankly - it's ridiculous. Are they bad people? No. Not unless they have a copy of HEAT magazine and a fucking Starbucks.
character and style and balls? Yes they have this, but they stil look ridiculous.

camden is crusty. but there's some alright band venues if you can be arsed stepping over the fallen winos. i've only ever had to call ambulances for strangers in camden. the lock tavern was still good last time i looked.

It does have the Jazz Cafe and a good cocktail bar.

Dingwalls had some good gigs in it's time. I've not been there in a while though.
Camden is just too far away though. And as wendell said - it's a nightmare when you miss the last tube out.
- Blofeldt0
lol Wendell. I'm going to a few of the Sunday jams next year i think
- Blofeldt0
Dingwalls was the hub of the Acid Jazz scene wasn't it? I've seen some great bands there in the mid nineties
