Lately (as if it happened overnight) whenever I download a song from iTunes, I can't do anything with it. Burn it. Convert it. Etc.
What I really what to do is convert it into something I can use in Flash.
Any idears as to what causes this? Privelage settings or something?
thanks,
bB

iTunes does have an encryption seal on its songs that prevent it from being burnt and converted after so many times, not sure what its called or where to read about it, but it does exsist. that could be your problem or it could be sumpthin else.... i spelled something like the cool kids do.

Thanks.
Yeah, I have heard that you can only copy or burn a song so many times. But this was the first time for this file.
And the funny thing is I download it. Which required my password.

Get Audio Hijack... You can record froma any app, including Tunes...

I have burned purchased music as an audio cd, then burned it back into my library as an mp3. It seems to work for me. Perhaps this was before the latest update, but you can try.
Good luck.

Songs purchased though the Apple Music Store use a form of digital rights management called FairPlay. Also, the songs are in AAC format, and Flash needs MP3 files, I think.
Not too long ago someone released a tool to remove the FairPlay stuff (the tool was called PlayFair--ha) but Apple shut that down pretty fast.
Anyway, Scott and Jesk are both right. Your best bet is to burn the songs to MP3 then rip them back in, but if you're a high roller you can buy Audio Hijack. Honestly, though, the rip-back-to-MP3 method should be quick and easy.

Auido Hijack does offer a fully functional demo, you just can't record over ten minutes or you get static, and like I mentioned earlier, it works great.
