"Crichton agrees the Earth is getting warmer. But he says there is little to worry about because the climate is always changing and there is no evidence to determine if the changes are manmade or natural. In fact he says, climate scientists admit they can't predict what temperatures will be in 100 years."
Is global warming real? :) Personally - I think it's horse-shit because we've only kept track of the weather for a bit over a hundred years...
... and we know that the earth has gone through a series of ice ages.
I agree the environment should be on all our minds... but I think that the 'globabl warming' arguement is a pile of shit. It's a theory... but if you look at 'history' as we know it - the earth repairs itself.
Just a thought... I admit I could be very wrong. ;)

Pure speculation, even scientists cannot pinpoint those things. It's all, obviously, educated guesses. Global climates have been much higher and that is recorded in the geologic rock record. There have been many catastrophic events, including massive vulcanism, that dwarf what is happening today by far. Depends on how you look at it but even conservationist and environmentalists have agendas. :)
