hey, does anyone know how you go about getting this effect using photoshop....it looks kinda dreamy or like really vibrant...theres the black bleed from each of the people aswell? anyone know?

well to start with the dudes. the black really has been made quite solid deep black (either post production or shot / lighted that way) and they have a back glow that matches the background. either do it by hand or thru paths cut them out and give it a back glow.

and ofcourse the background is a gradient.

Duplicate the layer, add a smidge of gaussian blur, set layer to overlay, and play around with the opacity to get desired effect. Sometimes multiply works better than overlay depending on the contrast/saturation of the original image.

just play round in pshop yea?
seems just to be blurs/contrast/saturation etc.
use your brain to figure out what you want and how to get it.
