a while ago I saw the band called The Advantage live. All instrumental and for a while a friend and I thought they were a cover band, but we couldn't figure out exactly which songs.
The next day I googled them and found out that they only cover old ninteno songs :-)
Anyway if you like that or not they are great live and play a tight set.

hella is awesome! i'm also digging that new sufjan stevens record quite a bit.

2 great Japanese bands:
P.A.T.E. 'Mo Psycho' album is a minor masterpiece. It got 5/5 on Digfi.comhttp://www.digfi.com/default.asp…
POLYSICS. Been lazily described as the Japanese Devo but there's more to them than that. They have the sad distinction of being the last Peel session that John ever broadcast (he loved them)
