Need a good app, please point me somewhere. I have seen apps that act as folders on linux, anything like that for osx? Basically a folder that is my ftp location, or something like that.. would be nice if it supports ssh as well by the way.

Transmit is the best all-rounder...does SFTP (FTP over SSH)...nicest interface.
http://www.panic.com/transmitbut Interarchy does more stuff, like droplets for mirror synching, scheduling, 'FTP disk' (cached local folder) etc....

I use Fetch mainly.
But sometimes I just use the 'connect to server' option from the finder on OSX.
Now I have a handy shortcut on my desktop that mounts like an external harddrive when I plug-in...

yes Fetch supports ssh

not sure if vicomsoft has an osx ftp app but i'm really happy with their app for classic os. transmit, fetch are cool as well but sometimes it doesn't work perfect (such as keeping connections alive or continueing partially uploaded files, classic os versions though).
