I'm not 'feeling' it yet. Help me out.
Also this weekend we took our foster child (long story - don't ask) to see SPongebob Squarepants. First time I have seen him and omg it's tweaked!! I think the adults were laughing harder than the kids there!! Is it the same people that did Ren and Stimpy because the humor is very similar!
Oh and nother thing - jk spelled Fuck wrong in the NTB...unless there's another letter in Fuck that I don't know about.
*snicker*

spongebob is hilarious and christmas season is fake.
christmas music makes me vomit.

wow jevad you have a foster kid? special! :D
spongebob is deffinately aimed towards adults i think. their base viewers are from the age 20-30! such a funny show.
as for christmas buy some indoor christmas lights and put them around your windows, i got some nice ones from ikea, thats about as festive as i get

christmas is all about drinking wine and eating cheese, lots of cheese in a room with a hot fireplace. especially after a day of riding. cant wait.
also, buying one really cool gift for the wife and watching her open it. and then hitting the wine.

always, always the answer to lack of seasonal cheer.

I love xmas music.
I love the season and normally I'm giddy about this time. I think maybe its because we're going away so we decided not to get a tree or decorate...thats probably it.
Plus this office has no xmas decorations apart from in teh main entrance.
boo,

bummer Nic, I was so amped to decorate we had our outside lights done the 1st weekend in December... I love doing it. We just did our tree last night and thats always fun.
Why not just get a little one for fun? Put it on the coffee table.

Actually I saw National Lampoons Xmas Vacation last night and that upped my spirits considerably.

one thing i actually kind of miss about the states is the unspoken ban on xmas decorations in the workplace or in schools.
everyone here is so cuckoo for christo that it makes me a little uncomfortable. eg: people look at me funny when i say 'happy holidays'.
this is a result of an overweening sense of political correctness gleaned from my middle class childhood in the western states...
- tny0
cool, nice paring!
my dad maintains that he learned how to swear listening to his old man put up the tree...
and i'm doing my best to continue the tradition! FGDT!

hey jev, next year go cut down your own tree...it'll totally put you in the xmas mood!
- 2cent0
dude!... this is all you need...
- 2cent0
hey sputnik... what year and model is your Disco?
- blaw0
how old is your foster child?
to me, christmas is a blast when there are little kids around.
i took my son (4 yrs.) to see Santa yesterday and you should've seen my little guy's face light up when he (santa) entered the party. it's like the first time you get to be star-struck.

I love the look on kids' faces when you tell them there is no Santa Claus. That always gets me in the spirit of teh season.
- jevad0
marina is that even legal!! Looks fun!
blaw he's 7 years old..I wish I could write about him in my journal becuase I have a lto to say...but I'm not allowed to
: (
he looks talks and acts like the kid from Jerry mcGuire...and my wife and I are talking about adopting him...but thats a long way off. He doesn't live with us at the moment which is something we are also trying to sort out.
I never thought I'd be into it - but his innocence and spazziness really touches me....

My wife felt that way last year about christmas and it's her favorite holiday. I think sometimes the state of affairs in the world...economy, etc. all tend to effect the holidays.
Go see some lighting shows or check out any christmas related entertainment...that may get you in the spirit of things.
- ricstultz0
awwwww, I miss the xmas hype too. Lost it a couple years back.
Now I just associate it with packed shoppin malls and family stress....
- jevad0
I think its also because I'm not in London anymore...it's so awesome with all the lights and decorations everywhere...maybe its the whoel 'not being in a big city' thing...but at least there is snow here....
