Have you ever thought about getting into architecture or interior design there Dutchboy, and I'm not being sarcastic.
- DutchBoy0
every day.
unfortunatly the world of architecture and interior design thinks otherwise.
:)

What do you think about QuA? Does their work interest you/could you see yourself working for a studio like that...getting to do web, print and interior?
- DutchBoy0
yeah, they rock. Folkert worked there. BUt then he left and it makes you think.
I love what they did for Porsche and VW and Saatchi..
makes my pants tight, na meen?

I thought he was still there? I swore I saw him there in the summer...anyhow, I'm a huge fan of their work, approach, philosphy etc. Believe it or not, there really are no companies like that in Canada...

i think you forgot to mention
http://www.framemag.com/dutch magazine!
i was in architecture for 4yrs, i don't think i regret that much about leaving it. to be a really good one, your life has to be all about architecture. that, i could not do. i love architecture, but i also wanna to enjoy life too.
in any case, i can still design my own house when the time comes.
- vburo0
cheers, tk..
i am no architect either, but sometimes you work on an environment as a designer, for instance a brand environment, like exposition or retail installations and such.
that's why i started this thread.

architecture is very inspiring. i appreciate the effort and process that go into making it.
i've traveled a lot, just to see some buildings. and i can talk about architecture all night...
doing web/graphics isn't as satisfying as getting a building designed, but not everyone is willing to sacrifice in order to design an amazing piece of architecture. but i'll stay as an admirer and appreciator forever.
