I am converting over 400 Word documents to PDF and Acrobat 6 keeps opening after each creation and is really slowing down the process. Is there any way to stop Acrobat from opening when converting these docs?

set up a watched folder with Distiller, then simply print PostScript files to that watched folder... Distiller will distill your PDFs - I don't think that Acrobat opens if you do it like this....

Select Adobe PDF as the printer, then select "properties" or "setup" etc,... Unselect "View Adobe PDF Results"...

Distiller isn't gonna work because I do not have Distiller. Moth, will this method of yours work on a PC?
