There's got to be something fiendishly clever & arty involving paper. How about Origami or something. Or the uses paper has, creative notes, scribbles on knpkins etc...

the boss wants me to use images of nature u know trees and shit like that, I will just have to leave it and do some work tonight so I have something to show him in the morning

paper textures are great as well as the weave and fibre make up. there are loads of great images out there. and paper also comes in colours books/swatches that could be a good place to start.

why not use a picture of a forest where all the trees are cut down and then with a pay off, you know, something like, we cut them down just for you? :)

What I iimmediately think of is trees and the process they go through to create different stocks....??? icons???
A nice use of white and simple tyopography. Majority of all stocks are white???
Display photographs on stocks to show how they may look when printed???...maybe somehow interactive??? dunno??
Call GFSmith and ask for some samples, their booklets are always nice. A lot of their photography are photos of inks in water, abstract but very nice...
