These flash buttons... I thought you just have to insert a clip of the text being scrolled from red to black (with a stop(); at the end of the clip) into the 'Over' state of the button?

don't actually need to be flash. 2 x animated gifs (one going up, one going down), then a normal common or garden javascript rollover.

you would need an on rollout function too, so that it scrolls backwards when you roll off of it.

mrdobolina - nah, ya wouldn't. the first image would be 'roll down' and not static, so it would actually do this when the image loads the first time (but no one would probably notice it). so onmouseout would simply bring that original one back in, but people would notice it this time as they would be looking for it. get what i mean?

all those buttons here are 1 swf file and the actual txt is loaded dynamically. rollover tween, either physical or as.
check the writeSWFButtons function in one of the linked js (see source).

THe rollovers on your site nav work in the same way, but instead of enlarging just move the graphic down under a mask (a white block on the layer above)where's me pressie?
