Just curious if anyone has seen this movie, too. I rented it a few days ago & I'd recommend it, definitely. Great soundtrack; genuine acting; touching plot; loved the whole idea of it, beginning to end.
For those of you who've seen it, what are your thoughts?

Any movie with the song
"Some Velvet Morning"
(by LeeHazelwood)
has to be good!

a very sad movie. i felt that there was no love from the start. the girl's character is somewhat exxagerated in the lack of common feelings and attitudes given the circumstances. but maybe that's the point.

I didn't see it as such a sad movie. Her character, maybe, but not the film as a whole. The idea that she kept his body around was quite disturbing, but also a little childlike. The movie seemed very honest, in my opinion. She was obviously a very special girl, searching for an escape from her life. And she did it in such a quiet way...
I guess, in a certain time in my life, I did the same.

it's a story that's all. not one of the best but certainly far from the mainstream (also boring) clichés.
