mayo... this puppy took over a year to track down. i did all sorts of shit i thought i'd never do. i went to weird bulldog meetings, shows, and joined clubs..... and i still only found two puppies. Natalie wanted to go with this particular breeder so that's the one we chose.

my advice for training if you are not down with hitting your dog (they will piss you off at some point):
fill a soda can with pennies and tape the hole closed. when the shit where they're not supposed to, shake furiously. you may feel bad once, but they will learn quickly.

if you dont want him to bark like a mofo all the god damn time... practice having people come into the house and don't welcome them, dont raise your voice, hardly acknowledge them... and make sure you do this to anybody who comes in the door.... that way the doggie doesnt go buck when somebody comes in the door.
thats what my cousin and his wife did with their doggie - and she hardly EVER barks.. so well behaved.

not yet. The current house has a back PATIO ( i wouldn't even call it a yard even though it has grass) that is barely big enough for the mini schnauzer.
But it looks like i'll be going to Sac when I get one. The local pet store said that there aren't any, in their opinion, reputable breeders in Reno for Siberian Huskies.
We almost looked at some when we were at Home EXPO two weeks ago, but after buying bathroom stuff, there wasn't any room for a puppy. :(
we're keeping an eye on the paper though. Maybe after the Christmas stress is gone, i'll consider getting one before we move into the new house.
