i have an href pointing towards an m4a file, when i click the link, it opens the m4a in safari but it's all text. wtf is going on? why doesnt it just play with the quicktime plugin or something?
or am i fucking shit up

I had that problem too, albeit it setting the links through a database...I couldn't find much about it at the time and just ended up saving the files as .mov instead.
