Can anyone point me to a tutorial that will show me how to make a surface in lightwave glitter?
I created this model and spent days getting it right. Now the client says that if it does not have glitter on one of the surfaces, then he wont use it. I got till tonight to do it. Heeeelp!

Is it just a still, or is it an animation?
Just in terms of rendertime, adding a bit of sparkle in photoshop or even aftereffects could be much faster. I often have to do stuff like this, and I find getting out of the 3d app is often faster..... ESPECIALLY in lightwave, were lighting effects can be so time consuming.

a colorful high contrast speckled noise pattern in the specular channel of the shader can work. takes some tweaking. most 3D apps work the same, dunknow lightwave....maya,xsi,3Ds all the same pretty much. at least the way shaders work.

oh, keep the UV repeat tight on that noise.

Hmm, ok, I will try it. I am not a newbie at lightwave, but I am fairly new to the prog. Anywhere I could find a tutorial on that?
