I agree with mossaic there are much better books out there for the price.
Showcase books are far too over priced!!

Any new thoughts on this book?
I'm thinking about picking it up.

Just got it in the post from Amazon page, 400-odd pages of visual sex!
Wow, that sounded geeky. Feel free to kick me in the balls.
But yes, extremely good, some of the text is a bit iffy, but that's not what counts. An extremely comprehensive collection of quality logos you would never of seen otherwise. And they're organized excellently also.

I have some work in both editions. The collections are fantastic. There are some talented artists out there!

The only showcase books I would pay that amount for are the Graphis ones.
- dopepope0
The Graphis books are amazing.

I am curious as to what the hype is about these books. I checked out both in the store (have seen more of los logos bot not in depth).
I buy many design books but have always wondering why ppl love this so much.
I don't see how it could be considered a bible for logo design seeing as it looks to be more of an eye candy book to look at for ideas.Like I said I haven't looked at it that in depth but it seems like there is hardly any description of the logos or info where it tells you what they are for. (Perhaps this is revealed through the way the box is indexed but i dunno).
I just picked up Marks of Excellence by Per Mollerup and it seems really good.
But I am interesting in more info about the setup of both of these books.
