building the computer

I'm getting ready for college so I'm going to get a new computer. What should I do? Get a G5, a premade package at Fry's, or just build one? I'm going to use it for design purposes only(and many some counter-strike, haha).

Get a G5, then you can't play that silly counter strike and that will give you alot of extra time to do your design thingy,,

Build one.
It is not difficult if you have half a brain and some previous experience opening a computer to add a hard drive, burner, etc.
It helps if you've been around electronics before...if you're just some jock with a basketball in one hand and the other hand wiggling around in your pants pocket, well, it might give your problems. (Not saying you are that person :) )I built one a year ago and it was much fun and took most of a Saturday.
