Plenty of you will know of/have studied at or be studying at the best (and worst) institutes in Sydney so I'm after some feedback. I'm specifically interested in:

    Enmore Tafe (Graphics Design Diploma)
Computer Graphics College (Graphics Design Production)
Billy Blue (Advanced Diploma of Communication Design)

Enmore would be a LOT cheaper than CGC and Billy Blue.. I'm also considering perhaps the 9 month CGC course followed by the 2 year Graphic Design Diploma at Enmore... fucked if I know how I'll pay for it all though :/

What I want to know is the quality of teaching, workload, for those of you who have complete courses, what you're doing now, and how hard the courses are to get into (numbers would be sweet).

I'm also open to alternative suggestions.

FYI, I'll have a Digital Media Certificate IV (TAFE - Wagga, NSW) at the end of the year and after further study (in SYD) I'm keen to get into Graphic Design in general be it logos & identities, product packaging, creating artwork for CDs/DVDs, flyers and anything inbetween.. I'd really be happy do any of those, even moreso if I could be doing a combination.

Much love in advance for all responses

dude I hear Enmore is pretty good from people who have been plus it's got alittle bit of cred on the street. I've heard some pretty fucked up things about Sydney Graphics colledge and you should steer clear of it and any other privately run colledges they're mainly about scamming foreign students out of cash who want a student visa.

I've been to Bill Blue. Did an advanced standing so never went to first year. I think it was very good, excellent and experienced teachers. However there are always issues with education i think always things that could work better and so on but in whole i really enjoyed my studies at BB. Talk to Matt Leach if you got any questions he will sort you out. Also visit http://www.australianinfront.com… they have heaps of info about this in their forums. Best luck!

Enmore has a good reputation (even among employers). It's kinda like the underground hip design scool for crackheads with talent ;)
