Been snowing for 3 days straight in Vail now....accumulated about 12-15".

I was a lift operator at Vail for a year. Damn that was fun, since I usually worked back in China Bowl and chair 22 (before Blue Sky Basin). The liftees would get first tracks - always before the ski patrol. Best - work - commute - ever!

3ft of powder I was riding this morning! Most snow I have ever seen in my life - up to my waist! It was still snowing when we left. The drive home, which should have taken maybe 1 hr 45mins took close to 5...and I've never really driven in snow before...harrowing drive back!

i just got back from Utah on saturday. got 8-10" of fresh powder while we were there. if we stayed a day longer, we could have more!sucks to be back in the city. i am ready to go back.
