PS2 for sale?

Let´s see, I got my PlayStation 2 about five months ago in Spain (where I am living right now).
I am moving back to USA, and wonder if I will have to sell it or I can do something to use it there?I love my PlayStation... don´t wanna let it go :(

Buy a new one mate. New PS2's are on sale for £99.

koko i have a ps2 ready to be sold, and bought by you. i never really used it except for FFX-2 and T.H.U.G. I can sell you the ps2 with everything (1 controller, all the wires/plugs) for $55. Email me if you are interested. I can send you pictures.

if you want to use a European PS2 in the states, you'll be f*cked because US games won't work on a PAL machine. plus you would have to get a stepdown/up transformer so you won't blow the powerboard.
get a US one - they're dirt cheap compared to the ripoff prices in Europe.

yep. so you have to sell your games as well if you're going to get a us ps2. unless you keep it ofcourse.

you could buy a mod chip and mod it... i think that removes the region coding block.

region code has nothing to do with it being pal or ntsc me thinks. yes no us region will ever be pal but that doesn't mean if you have a us region free ps2 it can actually play pal. again me thinks.
