The movie has one of the BEST endings. You get chills when "In the city" plays.

When the film premiered in NYC theaters in the 70's, it caused a few riots...people got freaked. It was considered really violent for the day, compared to now...when it's almost comical. Especially the early electronic music during suspense scenes.

There's nothing comical about the violence in the film and Barry DeVorzon's electronic soundtrack. Kicks most of nowadays electronic shit's ass. Period.
