Just finished watch Real Madrid Vrs Bayer Leverkusen, which was being played at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, now infamous because of the monkey chanting last week against England.
Lo and Behold monkey chanting all over the place when Bayer's Black players touched the ball. Really noticable.
Ban the bunch of fu*ks in my opinion.

not nice at all. cultured?

they even did the chanting on their own robberto carlos. Sounds like spains version of the National Front as they dont even seem to care about the football

What does a monkey chant sound like?

---------------------------THE REFEREE'S A WANKER

here in the netherlands they give the referee permission to stop the game if this occurs. and if possible the ones caught being racist are not allowed to attend the next match.
doesn't the spanish authorities take any measures against these assholes?
- lowimpakt0
but racism is everywhere
" Birmingham City have condemned alleged racist abuse suffered by striker Dwight Yorke against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. The Trinidad and Tobago man was forced to confront a supporter during Blues' clash against Rovers after being on the receiving end of a volley of abuse. "

i said it before: soccer attracts lots of pricks

Ok not condoning what happend to Dwight Yorke, But that was 2 guys whilst he was warming up against a team he used to play. The were thrown out of the ground, and have been banned from all Blackburn games and are in court this week for rasist abuse. Bit different to half a stadium
- lowimpakt0
but it wasn't an isolated incident.
Although it is unforgivable I am a little confused at the sudden rush of ultra-pc'ness especially among the deeply racist tabloid press
- kezza_20
In England I think that that was an isolated incident.

In the premiereship maybe
- ronaldo0
kez, was the game on regular TV over there or was it pay-per-view?
I don't get why the only two stations in the US that have soccer on tv can't even show live matches. We get to watch everything a week later. Lame

the shit is everywhere. The fact they have strategies against racism proves its existence. But hopefully it is getting better because sport can be a good vehicle for integration etc
"• In November 2002 ‘old fashioned’ monkey chants were hurled at Manchester United's Dwight Yorke by Sunderland fans during their Worthington Cup tie at the Stadium of Light.
• In November 2002 Leicester City’s British-born Turkish star Muzzy Izzet was loudly booed by Leeds United fans each time he touched the ball during their Premier League clash at Filbert Street.
• And in September 2002 fans watching England’s friendly against France in Paris racially abused Andy Cole and chanted ‘I’d rather be a Paki than a Turk’.
Yes, black faces are common on the pitch, and accepted by football fans everywhere. But incidents like these are still common too. If football is for everyone then we have to get rid of racism forever. If we work together we can really kick racism out of football."

I guess we could go around all day pulling links out to prove something. At the end of the day, the UK has gone a long way to sorting it out. Spain hasn't
In Sydney we get a live game on weds and Thurs morning, and a repeated one on sunday.
- toe-knee0
and dont forget the 5 live premiereship games on the weekend.

for those being able to see "Nederland 2" (dutch tv) there's quite an interesting/shocking documentary about a journalist who infiltrated in the group of spanish (madrid) neo-nazi's with a hidden camera.
these guys just beat random people to death in the street just for the hell of it.
real sick.
