I want to make a nice tin type texture for a photo. Very realistic. Everything I've tried so far looks like I'm trying too hard. Ideas and/or texture files you'd very kindly send my way?

i haven't washed my hair in over 4 weeks. no joke. and it's really long too. i think it's gotten to the point where i don't need to use shampoo anymore. cool stuff. i recommend it.

yep. you're not supposed to wash your hair every day.
I usually just rinse mine with water really well so it stays a bit oily, and pomade or whatever doesn't all come out. You use less that way.

I've never had dandruff. I think that's more with your scalp than your hair.
My roommate has dandruff, sometimes you look in his hair and you'd think it is full of coarse sea salt.

i know someone with heavy dandruff.. it is all over his pullover and keyboard.
but i guess this person cannot help it.

take a big piece of sticky-backed transparency and push it down on a dirty floor-- then scan it and layer it with "multiply" or perhaps "overlay" in PS.

haha yikes.. yeah i agree, changing shampoo - a must. i got this really straight but thick hair. it's like horse hair - serioiusly. i need a clay product to keep it together it's that thick. but if i used the same shampoo for a long time, no hair product will do the job.
my technique? wash every two days. days i don't wash, i rince well but apply a bit of a scented pomme to keep that 'old' hair smell at bay.

for dandruff, there's a 'tar' shampoo or something??? correct me if i'm wrong but i hear it works - very well.
