Looking for a new pair - mine are about 5 yrs old now.
I mainly use at work and snowboarding to listen to my ipod.
Nice deep balanced sound - not too bassy - not too tinny.
Comfort is key.
$50 - $80

I have those ear-bud ones - looking for ones to fit over my ears... those Grado are a bit too retro-looking for me!

sennheiser HD 25
light very durable and every professional dj use them, take from that what you will
dunno if they fall into the $80 bracket though

KOSS Porta Pro's.
Google them, I have a pair for home and work and they fold-up. They are amazing headphones.

I second the Sennheiser recommendation. Excelllent stuff. Hit their international website and look through the HD range.

sennheiser pxc250s sound sweet and they fold away nice and small. only prob is hte noise cancelling battery pack, which works a treat but makes the cable annoyingly fiddly.

these are pretty good if you're on a skinnier budget...
