for some reason, I cannot see the shoutbox anymore on that guy's site...
And besides, why on earth doesn't he talk 2 her? I mean, how can the guys from NT get involved in something that they know so little about? We have no idea what went on between the 2. He put a lot of effort in making that site but who knows what happened between them (maybe even he isn't aware of everything).
If you ask me, I'm for the guy - even if I know so little (I DID HAVE THE PATIENCE TO GO THROUGH HIS WHOLE SITE).

ah he removed it. wise decision.

I'm afraid the site is only making things worse. I wouldn't be surprised if she were like 'on, no.. he put my pictures on this website, how could he.. how embarassing.. ' But on the other hand, 'making things worse' is good, clears out the situation and helps move on.

Some time ago I had a client who wanted to start a B2B portal which would be a distribution point of reposessed goods. I took my software engineer friend and we prepared some 25 pages draft that outlined the structure, tech recommendations, basic market analysis, web advertisement options and stuff. There was no contract, since the draft was supposed to be a base for the contract. The client was to pay us for the draft and present it to his investor. Soon the guy stopped answering phone calls and never paid us.
A few weeks later I was watching TV, a 'couple reunion' show that there's got to be in every country's TV. There was our 'client' there. He was trying to get his girl back. I called my software engineer friend to turn on the tv immediately. The show host invited the girl, aired an interview with the guy, who was saying he'd been a bad person and stuff. Then she said how surprised she was. Then our guy came onstage and sat next to her. She said it was a nice try but there's no way she's coming back.
I think that was the only time in my life that a man's cry made me laugh my ass off.

Some of you are really mean guys... I mean, come on, you can only empathise with the bloke if you've been through the same mess. However, I must admit that he has pushed it a bit with the whole site and everything.
Anyways, I am sure things will work out for him. They always do ;-) - in a very strange way, of course.

"come on, you can only empathise with the bloke if you've been through the same mess."
Whilst you're going through it it seems to you that your situation is soo special and nobody can understand. A year later you realize it's the simplest story in the world and everyone's been through it. We may seem cynical, yet it doesn't exclude empathy. It's a painful experience, but the sooner he's over it, the better. Of course I don't know the details, but I wouldn't be surprised if she'd already moved on.
She's cute, though..
