My desktop is capturing in PDF form. It has never done this before. How do I revert back to JPG?

open in photoshop>file>save for web

apple > shift > (then 4, optional) > and keep finger on control....
this creates no pissing files on your desktop, it just copies it ready to paste in a application...

there is a way to change the default pdf to whatever you want via the terminal

Also try doing what save said then hitting the spacebar. You're cursor changes into a camera anc you can capture any window thats open.

I like a little program called SnapNDrag. It will capture to jpg, png, and bmp, I think. Just shoot want you want (screen, area, window) then drag the thumbnail to your app or folder of choice.
