my man works for activision and works a shit load of hours. but the royalties from the games pay off bigtime and make it all better. however, i think EA is one publisher that does NOT have a profit sharing program with their developers... or at least not very many of them.

sorry not referring to the no comp time or overtime pay but the lifestyle of being in the industry and having to sacrafice for awesome or so called awesome work. Maybe the reason why some companies go with off shore development.

This is so last week. :P but yes it's all true, I'm in there QA department, I'm lucky enough to have leads that are brutaly honest, and they dn't lie to us, but they have said that lies aer teh EA way. And the emploies in the eyes of the execs, are just numbers, and we are used...cause I mean everyone loves video games, it's a dream job......like the ones that make you wet the bed with fear....
