  I've read a couple of articles saying it can be done but that resolution suffers? Or maybe I'm just reading the wrong articles.

  Anyone have success with this and how?

  Ya, I did see that converter but didn't know if it was the right type. I have a 20 apple cinema display and it looks like a non-VGA plug. Wonder is there is an adapter for that.
