at home on my ibook, 1024x768, here at work 1600x1200 21". it's a bit of a change working here for 8 hours then going home and not fitting anything on the screen.

ok, I was just wondering the size of your scrollbars in different screen resolutions!
My scrollbar size are 21, thats not default in 1024*768 .... ??
I would also like to hear what scrollbar size you have in higher resolutions!

OSX: 15 pixels wide
scroll bars are always a constant width in pixels arent they? (i.e screen setting wont matter, you just fit more of em on your screen)

no really tho, they should be the same size for different resolutions, well at least on mac...
and i am almost certain they are the same on pc for different resolutions...

I think we have 2 threads going in here...
Scroll bars, window elements, close buttons, are always a fixed pixel size (Mac, Windows, Linux whatever), unless they have an option to vary them by user input or scaling automatically.
I don't think I've seen any scaling scrollbars...they are all fixed width...

I have placed some tape over the edges of my monitor so its roughly
1268.5 X 1016.5
Its damned annoying.I also put nail varnish over where the start button should be.

I had mine set at 1600 x 1200 for years, but lowered the resolution as my eyes started going bad and everything looked blurry

I'm on a windows XP (burck 4work), but they have chanched the scrollbar size manually.. they must have - this looks like a highway..
