I don't doubt it for a second. I'm short sighted and I've noticed how it's gone much worse over the last few years.
Noticable when im looking far ahead, for instance driving. The left eye doesn't follow. I went to the doctors last year for a routine check and as it turns out, only 10% of my left eye is used. It just "follows" the right one.

yea i get bl oodshot eyes after staring at a monitor for hours on end.. but i have to use it cuz i need to work...

yes what is really sad is that we are the guinae pigs of this whole monitor in the face for 10 hours a day lifestyle. it has been forced upon us really... "hey guess what, if you want to make a decent living, you're going to do it in front of a computer"
we will only know all the effects it is having on us later in our lives.

I'm already at risk for glaucoma and I go to the doctor twice a year for checkups.
