sorry if this is a stupid question, but...
in page layout programs you can control how text flushes against an image in a block manner(my terminology is probably wrong), but is this possible with css?
here's a screen cap of what im talking about. In part A, that's how my stuff currently is. In Part B, that's how i want it to be(i highlighted the area im talking about):
is this possible?

actually i didnt highlight it, but im talking about the area between the text and neighbouring image, can the text be right flushed against it? or whats the best way to address this aesthetically?

so, in print terms, you want to force justify the type and have a text wrap around the picture?
*sorry, i'm a print person. so just clarifying

need to padd your image with hspace & vspace values. can do that the image itself or with css.
also you have to justify your text. in css it is text-align: justify;
