Flash Video Question

I have imported a FLV file into flash. It's a simple 1 minute video with a man giving a speech. On my computer the video and audio match perfectly. However, on our G4 powerbooks, the audio moves at normal speed, the video is too slow. So the spoken words do not match the mouth movements.
Is this just aproblem with computer processor speed, or is there something I can do with the flash file or the FLV to improve the quality?
Thank you in advance.

how big is your video file? have you incorporated preloader?

Improving the quality? You've probably already decreased the hell out of it by converting to FLV, to be honest. It's probably still massive though. Video is by nature.

ahhhhhh, I see, yeah it might be the processing speed of your machine, but I would double check your video as well. Sometimes things get nugged when exporting. That is unless you are converting from .avi, .wmv etc into FLV already.

I do have a preloader.
if (bytes_loaded == bytes_total) {
this.gotoAndPlay(3);
}We took the original QT and converted to FLV with Sorenson Squeeze. Everything loads and plays fine on our bigger comps, but it's too choppy on the smaller computers.
